The report says that Galaxy S4 is going to feature
a 13 Megapixel primary camera and claims it is going to be the best
camera ever fitted in a smartphone. We all know about the malfunctioning
of iPhone 5 camera which Apple claimed as the best smartphone camera, so we can’t say anything about the claim right now.
The other rumor is about the screen of Samsung Galaxy S4.
It is going to sport an OLED screen instead of traditional AMOLED
displays. The new OLED display is thinner and lighter as compared to LED
displays, it also consumes less amount of power and have long life.
Samsung has showed the huge 55-inch OLED screen TVs at CES 2012 back in
January, priced at $7500, the HD TV is expected to hit the stores later
this fall.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Features
Galaxy S4 is expected to feature a 4.8-inch OLED display with screen
resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels. The new screen of Galaxy S4 is going
to have In-cell touch technology which is going to make the next
generation Galaxy S phone slimmer and lighter as compared to Galaxy S3.
Regarding rest of the specs, it is not much cleared but Samsung will
not launch Galaxy S4 in 16GB variant. The phone is expected to have
32GB, 64GB and 128 GB memory variants. A 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 3200 mAh massive battery, and 1.9 megapixel of Skype certified HD front-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Release Date
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be introduced in February at the Mobile
World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, according to The Korea Times but it
seems unreal for us because it is going to be the next flagship phone of
Samsung. So, Samsung will introduce it in a special event in second
quarter of next year as according to the reports, the Galaxy S4, when
comes, will be running the Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie on it.
Galaxy S4 even with all these advancements going to be priced same as
of Galaxy S3 or even may be lesser. Current Galaxy S3 model starts from
$599.99 and it is expected that Galaxy S4 32GB model will cost the
same.
More good news is that Samsung is going to use more hard and durable
material to make Galaxy S4 housing body as compared to Galaxy S3 and
Galaxy Note 2. The main reason behind this is lighter OLED display
screen which is going to decrease the weight of phone up to greater
extent, amazingly.
Till now Samsung haven’t said a single word officially about Galaxy
S4 because they are also following the trend set by Apple to create hype
about its product by keeping them top-secret before launching them
officially. And they did the same with Galaxy S3 as well.
