The Samsung Galaxy Note 2
has been accidentally leaked online by Samsung itself. The blooper
occurred when an image of the unannounced device was posted on Samsung's
Pakistani Facebook page.
The image, which can be viewed above,
looks pretty much as you'd expect although it is noticeable how the
screen takes up almost the entire front of the smartphone. You can also
clearly see a front-facing camera which will be used for video calling !
Previous leaks regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 2
suggest it'll have a 5.5 inch touch-screen, which is 0.2 inches larger
than the original Note's display. The resolution hasn't been leaked but
we assume it'll be at least 720p (1280*720p).
The rest of the Note 2's specification
is expected to be very similar to the Galaxy SIII with a quad-core 1.5
Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM and either 16 or 32GB of on-board memory all
expected to be included. A stunning 12 mega-pixel camera is also
expected to be included which will undoubtedly be capable of recording
1080p video.
We still don't know whether it'll run on
Android Ice Cream Sandwich or Android Jelly Bean, but we hope that
Samsung ships the latest version of Android with the Note 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is expected to
launch in September or October and it shouldn't be long before Samsung
unveil the smartphone officially. As soon as 3G hears any fresh information you'll be the first to know.
