The Micromax A84 Superfone Elite has hit availability status in India. According to the company’s PR person, there will be no official launch for the smartphone in the country.
This Micromax device happily munches on Gingerbread, with no word about a bigger feast
at present. A 1GHz processor with ‘superior’ graphics sup
port assists
the OS in speeding up mobile functions. Its front panel is dominated by a
10.1cm WVGA full multi-touch screen. The display employs IPS panel
technology to render an improved visual experience. The phone’s
unspecified internal memory can be expanded via a slot provided for a
32GB microSD card.
This Superfone handset
supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, WAP and GPS for
connectivity purposes. It tags along quad band GSM capability for global
usage. To facilitate photography, a 5MP snapper with LED flash is
affixed to its exterior. Let’s not forget, there’s a front-facing 0.3MP
sensor for video conferencing over the web.
The
device’s integrated 1630mAh Li-ion battery is expected to provide the
juice for approximately 5 hours of talk time or 150 hours of standby
duration. For entertainment purposes, it arrives preloaded with many
applications such as MiBuddy. It provides convenient access to Facebook
and other social networking utilities. Besides, a number of Google
utilities and other applications from the online store are ready at
hand.
The Micromax A84 Superfone Elite price in India amounts to Rs. 9,999. It can be picked up via retail outlets in the country.
